One Step Forward - Two Steps Back

Contrary to popular belief, I wasn't home alone last night. However, in defense of my integrity I will say it was an extremely cold fall evening and no girl with any sense would pass up an opportunity to snuggle. So I made dinner for two and the brisk walk in the cold night must've somewhat numbed my senses because I allowed him into my den. After all this time and money spent discussing our relationship, the many lectures on how important it is to set boundaries and the techniques devised to reach mutual respect, the experts I visit on a weekly basis would surely chastise me for my lack of resolve. So he climbed up on my couch and settled in for some loving without a word of objection from me. Our bodies touching we gave into exhaustion and fell asleep. Yes I am very aware that this simple gesture of affection could be very detrimental to our relationship creating confusion as to the hierarchy I have been working so hard to establish. But seriously...how can you say "NO" to a droopy face like this?
