Bill: "What you should do is find someone who isn't a stick in the mud and can keep up with you."
Me: "Oh really? You think so?"
Bill: "Hell yeah! You are a pretty spunky lady."
Me: "Ok...you just called me lady. Might as well start calling me Ma'am."
Bill: "No! I'm serious. What you should do is hook up with the DQ. He says goodbye to his goylefriend. She's annoying anyway. You lose the needy guys that seem to stick to you like glue and all is set. So easy!"
Me: ".....I do believe you have lost your mind."
Bill: "Just admit it! You would both be better off."
Me: "Ok...stop now or I'll tell the bar tender he needs to shut you off!"
Bill: (As he bursts out in laughter) "Bitch! And I say that with all due respect."
This isn't the first time someone has made this suggestion. Maybe some people see more than we give them credit for. Let's digress from how close said unsolicited opinions can be from the actual truth because that isn't what is being discussed here. What I don't understand is why guys feel like they are entitled to say things like these to women. I'm pretty sure they don't share these opinions of theirs with other guys. For argument's sake, I just don't see Bill (or any other person of the male gender) telling the DQ that he needs to make his girlfriend go away cuz she's a bitch. After all guys don't really discuss these things with other guys. So why is it OK that they offer unsolicited opinions to women? And then they say guys don't gossip. UHU! TSK!!
